Michael Carr he is a Lecturer in School of Multidisciplinary Technologies. He has over 30 publications in both Maths Education and Engineering Mathematics education. Michael is particularly interested in systematically improving students core mathematical skills.

He has written several journal papers in this area. In addition he is currently supervising 2 PhD students in the areas of Maths Education and Engineering Education. Michael is currently one of two Irish representatives on the SEFI-Maths Working Group.

He has over 15 years teaching at experience having taught students at all levels from Apprenticeship through to Masters and PhD level.
